Celebrate July 4th in Peachtree City!

Tomorrow begins one of Peachtree City’s most anticipated holiday celebrations—the 4th of July! From decoration streaming from golf carts to fireworks exploding over Lake Peachtree, this is a hometown celebration you will not want to miss!

The weekend officially kicks off with a live concert at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater on Friday, July 3. MJ LIVE — the #1 Michael Jackson Tribute in the world will perform, featuring all Jackson’s biggest hits, including Bad, Billie Jean, Beat It, Dangerous, Smooth Criminal, Black & White, I Want You Back, and many others. Relive the energy, excitement, spectacle and pure joy of this legendary superstar and his music. Witness the awesome sound, lighting, and effects. Feel the energy from the MJ LIVE band straight from Vegas with mega talented MJ LIVE dancers. Sing along to some of the greatest hits of all time. Tickets are still available: $30 Reserved, $25 Lawn, and 210 for Picnic tables that seat 6. Call The Fred box office for tickets or go online at amphitheater.org. Gates open at The Fred at 7 pm, the opening act goes on at 8, and MJ LIVE takes the stage at 9.

July 4th festivities begin at 9 am with our Annual Peachtree City Parade. Spectators line the street to watch decorated floats, bands, and golf carts drive by as the parade travels north on Peachtree Parkway from Robinson Road. The parade ends at 11 am in the McIntosh Trail Complex.

To wrap up the day, fireworks begin at dusk (approximately 9 pm) over Lake Peachtree in the heart of town.
