Before you leave, take a look around the entire 50-acre McIntosh Trail Complex, the hub for many of Peachtree City’s special events throughout the year. You’ll see The Fred, our first class outdoor entertainment venue, and the William L. Davis BMX track. The complex also is the starting point for the Flat Creek Nature Preserve trail. You also will find a large picnic pavilion, walking trails, horseshoes, a skateboard ramp, and the Peachtree City Dog Park.

Celebrate July 4th in Peachtree City!

Tomorrow begins one of Peachtree City’s most anticipated holiday celebrations—the 4th of July! From decoration streaming from golf carts to fireworks exploding over Lake Peachtree, this is a hometown celebration you will not want to miss!

The weekend officially kicks off with a live concert at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater on Friday, July 3. MJ LIVE — the #1 Michael Jackson Tribute in the world will perform, featuring all Jackson’s biggest hits, including Bad, Billie Jean, Beat It, Dangerous, Smooth Criminal, Black & White, I Want You Back, and many others. Relive the energy, excitement, spectacle and pure joy of this legendary superstar and his music. Witness the awesome sound, lighting, and effects. Feel the energy from the MJ LIVE band straight from Vegas with mega talented MJ LIVE dancers. Sing along to some of the greatest hits of all time. July 4th festivities begin at 9 am with our Annual Peachtree City Parade. Spectators line the street to watch decorated floats, bands, and golf carts drive by as the parade travels north on Peachtree Parkway from Robinson Road. The parade ends at 11 am in the McIntosh Trail Complex.

To wrap up the day, fireworks begin at dusk (approximately 9 pm) over Lake Peachtree in the heart of town.

The Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater is a perfect place to spend a summer evening, and this weekend in Peachtree City promises to be memorable. One of the most recognizable voices in music plays at The Fred on Saturday night, June 12—the legendary Michael McDonald.

Boz Skaggs Opens The Fred’s Summer Concert Series!

The weather forecast says “Perfect Night Under the Stars!” this Saturday, May 2, when Boz Scaggs kicks off The Fred’s Summer Concert Series. If you haven’t made it to Peachtree City for a concert at The Frederick Brown, Jr. Amphitheater, this could be the perfect weekend!

Singer/Songwriter Boz Skaggs

With his soulful songs that float between genres of rock, R&B, and jazz, the Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter has earned acclaim from music industry insiders since his first release in 1965. Skaggs, who first gained fame in the 1960s as a guitarist and sometime lead singer with the Steve Miller Band, has released a new album, A Fool to Care. He says he’s “having a lot of fun with music, more than ever,” and you’ll hear everything from the popular “Lido Shuffle” to this newest tracks.

Scaggs is the opening show in the concert series presented by Lexus of South Atlanta. Gates open at 7pm with Nashville alternative country music artist Rayland Baxter performing at 8pm and Skaggs taking the stage at 9pm.
