By Nancy Price, Executive Director Peachtree City CVB

Valentine’s Day weekend is approaching. Why not spend it in Peachtree City?

Book a night at one of our premiere hotels or award-winning conference centers—you are sure to find one that fits your Valentine budget—then let your romantic weekend begin!

Make a reservation at one our numerous restaurants. Many are promoting Valentine's Day specials, including the Wyndham Peachtree Hotel and Conference Center’s Valentine’s Day Seafood Buffet.

Hop on board one of Peachtree City’s signature vehicles—a golf cart—and travel a few of our 90 miles of paved paths. Visit one of two Saturday morning farmer’s markets. Both carry locally grown seasonal produce, homemade breads, jams, jellies, local honey, grass-fed meats, goat cheese and much more.

Explore the nature trails of Flat Creek and Line Creek nature areas. Flat Creek, a 513-acre wetland, has a 1200-foot boardwalk and two viewing platforms. Line Creek, a 70-acre public preserve, offers a fishing dock on a small pond, a gazebo, and several miles of nature trails.

Sign up for the Saturday afternoon Southern Hollywood Film Tour. The entertaining 90-minute van ride through Fayette and Coweta counties points out filming locations for popular movies and television shows, like “Sweet Home Alabama,” “Fried Green Tomatoes,” and “The Walking Dead.”

Golf, tennis, bike, shop…they are all available when you visit Peachtree City. For more information, visit our website or call the Peachtree City Visitor’s Center at 678-216-0282.
